Preparing a Quote

Preparation of a quote is done after conducting the below listed steps

  • Customer Site Analysis (Roof, Angle, Access, Shading etc)
  • System Sizing (Power consumption, efficiency, etc)
  • System Selection (customer's budget, brand preference, company's promo offers etc)

Preparing a quote is about

  • Accurately capturing all site specific extra charges (so customer is not surprised later)
  • Tailoring to suit customer's cash flow (by including the correct payment plan)
  • Negotiating succesfully (by showing some discounts on the net price)
  • Advising pay-back period (Explaining to customer's savings, costs and payback period)

Discount offer and control

  • Have you given your sales rep the right to give discount in customer quotes?
  • Unfortunately sometimes discounts in quotes can turn into a nightmare if not capped.

Site specific costing
